Karen Glass

Karen Stephenson, the artist started doing stained glass many years ago, but then took a big break. Eight years ago she got back into it. After doing stained glass items, windows, and mosaics, she took an interest in glass fusion and it didn’t take long to get addicted. She bought her own kiln and the love for glass grows each time she opens the kiln.


She taught glass fusing in Surprise, Arizona until she moved to Alabama in 2006. She loves teaching people about glass. There is always something new to create. All of the art pieces are designed and hand crafted in her home studio in Maylene, Alabama.
